Brookmeade Sod Farm’s new website designed and developed by the slgd.com website development team. Brookmeade’s old website was very much out of date and had been neglected for some time. Brookmeade doesn’t really advertise because they have been in business for more than 50 years and have a strong following. However, they still do need a functional website to have a strong internet presence to provide a service to their customers and potential customers.
SLGD started by consulting with the office manager, Rose Little to find out what content to keep from the old site and what new functionalities (her wish list) she wanted. From there we came up with a plan and created a wireframe of what each page was to look like along with functionalities. Rose was great to work with, she saw the vision but also trusted us in making the site. Once we got her approval on the wireframe, we designed a graphic image of every page along with most of the actual content that was to be on the site. After the graphic images were approved then we move into the development of the WordPress website. The site took about 10 days to construct and over several weeks to complete. Rose, the owners, and even some of their customers have expressed how much they love their website. Actually, the difference between this website and the old website is night and day. A huge difference. Not but 10 minutes after we launched the new website we started getting leads from the form on the website of people wanted sod and the responses continue to grow.
