Here’s an email to a retail store client during the Covid-19 outbreak where stores are closing.
1) Get a notice together to post on your website and on Facebook.
It’s important for your customers to know where you and your shop stand.
See attached example from one of my other clients. The intro is good information.
2) Now is a great time to advertise on Facebook because everyone is tuned in with idle time:
Now is a great opportunity to talk about lotions and small gifts to give out to people in the health industry during this time. Gift giving.
Create a process of how people will shop. You can create some gift ideas, make a photo/description, and post them on Facebook. Customers can come by and you’ll run out with the gift and they’ll pay by credit card.
Or you may decide to forego any of this a close temporarily.
But this is still a good opportunity to explore online opportunities.
Also, a tip on Facebook boosts. After review of your Facebook posts, it shows that you all boost a post without any responses.
I’d suggest creating a boosted post has requires people to respond…like:
1) Create a raffle (a chance to win). To win they must either and or make a recommendation, like a post, respond to the post. And then you’ll pick the winner.
2) I think Facebook has polls. See attached. It’s under Publishing Tools, under +Create. There’s an option there to create a Poll. As for the poll, you ask a question and then give 2 options. And or you can pick a winner too.
Let me know how else I can help.
