SLGD POLICIES & CLIENT EXPECTATIONS
SLGD (Samuel Little Graphic Design, Inc.) or (We)
SLGD accepts cash, check and credit payments via pickup, snail mail and online payments.
We can schedule a check pickup if you are local to Richmond, VA
We prefer that you make payments online via check bank draft but we do accept credit cards. We do get charged a fee for credit card processing but it saves us time, money and helps keep your account services current if you pay online. However, we get charged a BIG fee if the payment is over $1000. Please help us keep fees at a minimum by paying by check online for small dollars or check in-hand for large dollars where possible.
Checks can be sent via snail mail to: Samuel Little Graphic Design, P.O. Box 70501, Richmond, VA 23255.
1) Invoices are sent via email through our Quickbooks online acct. and are due upon receipt.
If you have a payment policy please let us know. If payment is not made within 30 days of invoice date there is a late fee of $15 and $15 for each additional 15 days late thereafter.
2) Some work is paid upfront, half down or in full depending on the scope of the project.
3) Website Development:
SLGD requires half down to start and final payment after website goes live and is approved. Third party payments (domains, hosting, etc) will be paid upfront.
After website is live and we receive final client approval, client has 7 days to make final payment without a payment penalty charge of $15/7 days. Initial website development and project services must be complete before final payment. After final payment is paid the project/job is complete and any additional work is a new project.
1) Project quotes: We gather your information, write up a scope and quote on the project, task and or service. That’s the price as long as we stay in scope.
2) Service/Research quotes: $1.50/minute with an agreed budget. We work toward the budget. You only pay for the work up to the budget. If we reach the budget then we can agree on what it will take to complete the service or research moving forward.
3) All quotes are package deals. By decreasing a few items may not decrease the price. In some cases may require a re-quote.
4) Quote/contract/estimate/proposal expire in 30 days of email sent date.
OUT OF SCOPE:
Meaning: An increase or decrease in the scope of work that is considered outside the statement of work on which a contract is based, and which requires a change in the contract cost or price.
An increase in the scope of work request is quoted or billed at the budgeted $1.50/min. rate.
Website development normally takes 4-6 weeks unless otherwise noted. Please let us know of any vacations or delays.
This development process can be expanded depending on the complexity of the website and services being provided.
Week 1: Gathering content
Week 2 & 3: Developing website
Week 4: Proofing/changes
Week 5: Making site live
Week 6: Finalizing website

SLGD can not be held responsible for any unapproved work performed after the 7th day deadline.
2) If a project or job is started but becomes stagnant and we do not hear from you within 7 days we will bill you for the time spent on that project or job and payment is due. When we return to the project or job we will pickup where we left off and additional costs may be necessary to complete the project or job. See Invoices.
3) Quotes expire after 30 days of the estimate/contract/quote/proposal email sent date.
